So there's a whole bunch of files in the $HOME directory which aren't a problem functionally, but visually, they are mildly annoying (I prefer having hidden files visible). The list of files are as follows:
- .bash_history
- .bash_logout
- .bashrc
- .hushlogin
- .ICEauthority
- .nvidia-settings-rc
- .pam_environment
- .profile
- .sudo_as_admin_successful
- .wget-hsts
- .xinputrc
Ideally, I'd like to move anything that is a temporary file to my tmp folder, and any configuration files to a config folder I have, thereby ensuring my $HOME directory contains nothing but folders.
