Some keys on Dell Inspiron 15 7000 stop working

Some keys (mostly the bottom two line on the keyboard) on Dell Inspiron 15 7000 stop working sometimes. I tested the followings:

  1. In BIOS I was able to type, all not functioning keys under Ubuntu worked.
  2. Went into the diagnostic screen appeared during boot but no issue was found and at the same time I was able to type whatever key I wanted,
  3. After restarting the PC (now) I can write this question without issue, but a PC restart doesn't always help.

What could cause such behavior?
