On Ubuntu 20.04, why is VirtualBox graphics choppy when ran as root or as another user sharing a display through "xhost +" command?

It even does this when running Windows 10, Android, and Ubuntu VMs. If I'm not running as root or as another user through "xhost +" command, then it works fine. I need to access a an entire HDD to add new partitions and stuff using this command: "sudo VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename "/home/jack1/t.vmdk" -rawdisk /dev/sda". But I can't hardly use VirtualBox as root with it bugging out like this.
