Ubuntu announced its 22.10 (Kinetic Kudu) release almost 9 months ago,
on October 20, 2022, and its support period is now nearing its end.
Ubuntu 22.10 will reach end of life on July 20, 2023.
and very soon, the final EOL notices will be out.
LTS releases are the first release in an even year, ie. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS was the 2022-April LTS release.
As you see here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases the last LTS version before 23.04 had been Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS.
It's not, did you read any release notes

says rather clearly
Which is why end of life warnings came out awhile ago
