New Linux user here. I have a dark theme on Ubuntu 22.04 but Nemo 5.24 it does not show up. Is there anyway to set a dark theme in Nemo? I saw an answer to a question similar to mine but it was made long time ago and it did not seem to work for me.
You can try to achieve a dark theme in Nemo by changing the system theme in Gnome Tweaks.
To install Gnome Tweaks:
sudo apt install gnome-tweaks
When you open the application you will see something like this:
Navigate to Appearance -> Styles -> Legacy Application. By default The theme should be "Yaru". In the drop down menu, find Yaru-Dark (it might be close to the bottom) and press it:
Now Nemo should look like this:
There are a lot of other themes. I would recommend to experiment until you find one you like. There is also the option to install other themes.
