Unable to start jack server ? Service is available (org.jackaudio.service aka jackdbus).

Im trying to start jackd using QJackCtl but it fails with error messages Here is what I'm seeing -

14:36:48.194 Patchbay deactivated.
    14:36:48.198 Statistics reset.
    14:36:48.228 ALSA connection change.
    14:36:48.241 D-BUS: Service is available (org.jackaudio.service aka jackdbus).
    Cannot connect to server socket err = No such file or directory

Note : If I restart my machine "Jack" start working again until I play something, like movies or songs etc using vlc or any other media player.

  1. I am new but I will try to answer your question. It sounds like you may be going through something similar to my own ordeal. Try this in the terminal. Here is the code. 

    pulseaudio --kill
jack_control  start.

    Then when you are done with jack do this. Here is the code. 

    jack_control exit
pulseaudio --start.
