Questions[chrome-extension](ubuntu)

There is this particular chat app called Line but it does not provide Linux version. But thankfully the developer made a chrome extension. In the past, extensions were integrated with chrome://apps so it was very easy to add shortcut to desktop. Line also does not provide the web version like WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams so cannot add shortcut directly. Any help would be highly appreciated. Line extension (top right corner) does not show up on chrome app list:

I'm running Chrome 87.0.4280.88 on Ubuntu 20.04.01 64 bit

So I have Chrome Remote Desktop installed in Windows on 2 of my machines, and I want to set it up in Ubuntu as well (so that I can easily access my machine at home from work etc). So I went to https://remotedesktop.google.com/access as I did in Windows and chose to set it up. It downloaded the .deb and I installed it. But when I go back to that link after installing, I expected to see an option to "Turn On" and put the machine name and pin in.

Instead, I got this:

I checked in terminal, and it seems to be running fine:

So why am I not getting an option to turn it on (and set it up)? Seems the extension in Chrome has no options available either.

for the record, this is a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04.1 and chrome is up to date etc.

I'm currently trying to set up chrome remote desktop on a new computer with Ubuntu 18.04. But whenever I try to follow the instructions on https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/1649523#linux-crd, it skips the setup stage and goes straight to "Set up another device for remote access".

To clarify, the steps are:

1. Install chrome extension
2. Install Debian file https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/chrome-remote-desktop_current_amd64.deb
3. Checked that it was successful using systemctl status chrome-remote-desktop
4. The blue setup button on https://remotedesktop.google.com/access/ gets stuck forever
5. If I try to open it up in a new tab or refresh, the only option I have is to "Set up another device for remote access" or remote into a device I've setup already.

I've gotten this to work on a virtual machine earlier this year and it works fine on my windows computer. But it seems to only fail on my Ubuntu 18.04 computer. I've also tried reinstalling google-chrome, chrome-remote-desktop chrome extension and chrome-remote-desktop Debian file installation.

Does anyone have suggestions on what might be going on?

When I run the google-chrome

This error is coming also chrome is not opening.

Recently I installed Ubuntu 18.04 and so far everything was great but yesterday it started to be weird.

Issues I found so far:

1. terminal won't open after reboot, but when I log out and then log in it works
2. sound is not working (tried few things but still no luck)
3. cannot open nautilus

What I did before it started to act weirdly was that I have installed Chrome Remote Desktop and added google account to online accounts.

I cannot figure out how to fix this and is it related to chrome remote desktop.

I will appreciate any kind of help!
