Questions[disconnect](ubuntu)

I have a Sony bluetooth headset connected to Ubuntu 20.04. They work very well, bluetooth can reconnect, I can even (mpris) control players from it.

The problem I have is that if I forget to turn the off while connected the headset will run out of battery overnight. I checked and there is nothing I can do from the headset side to automatically turn it off when there is no sound.

However the headset auto-turn off when there is no bluetooth connection. Therefore I think the only good option I have is if Ubuntu would disconnect the bluetooth after a certain period of silence.

Is there such option to auto disconnect a bluetooth audio device when there is no sound?

There is no much configuration I could find for the bluetooth device except this from the Settings window:

I have a dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04 machine. I can connect to Wifi fine on Windows, but when using Ubuntu it disconnects every 10-20 minutes or so. When this happens, I can always get it working again with:

sudo rmmod wl
sudo modprobe wl

I've tried suggestions from similar posts (e.g., disabling IPv6, setting REGDOMAIN=GB in /etc/default/crda and installing linux-firmware), but nothing has worked so far. I'd be very grateful if anybody could help.

I have a Lenovo thinkpad with intel wireless: Cannon Point-LP CNVi [Wireless-AC] 9560. It worked great until I upgraded from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04. Ever since it disconnects from the internet every half an hour.

I tried upgrading the kernel to 5.7 and than down grading to 5.3 I tried playing with the wifi power saver I tried installing the intel suggested driver (9000 v.34) instead of the provided v.46. I tried systemctl disable --now wpa_supplicant.service I tried using arping in crontab And some more stuff I found that was semirelated to my problem

With reference to this topic:

1. I have changed WiFi powersave to off.
2. IPv6 support disabled.
3. I have reinstalled Linux firmware.

But nothing helped. The network still disconnects at random times

[EDIT]: OR under internet load! I have to close pages that download a lot of data, e.g. youtube. Then turn the wifi card on and off and internet comes back. If it does not close the charging websites or downloading, the connection will return for a second and then fall again. Even the Ubuntu update cannot be downloaded because the wifi disconnects

, reconnects after 4-5 minutes. I can't work like this.

No problem on Windows 10.

After upgrade from 17.10 to 18.04, any device I connect to only stays connected for a couple of seconds. My laptop is a Lenovo P50 (20ENCTO1WW)
