After installing 20.04 on my desktop, my printer has stopped working.

Printer: HP Envy 5640, connected via USB. hplip installed. cups installed.

Any suggestions appreciated. Printer itself is OK as I have used it wirelessly to print from another PC on the network.

Let's assume that one has some modern HP printer and/or scanner which is not supported by HPLIP package from official repository.

Currently Ubuntu versions have the following versions in universe pocket:

bionic (18.04LTS): 3.17.10+repack0-5
focal (20.04LTS): 3.20.3+dfsg0-2
impish (21.10): 3.21.6+dfsg0-0ubuntu1

What can one do if printer is supported in newer version of HPLIP (checked this in HP Developer Portal | All Supported Printer Models)?

I have recently installed Ubuntu 18.04 in my hp 15bs 145tu laptop. All packages of Ubuntu seem to be working properly but the WiFi adapter is not found, and I can't connect to the wireless network.

How can I debug/fix this?

I have installed Ubuntu 18.04 LTS on my HP Pavilion series laptop. After installing this version of Ubuntu, right click is not working of my touchpad. How can I solve this? BTW: This question does not have any solution which which is working for me.
PS:- Problem remains after selection area in gnome-tweak-tool

I have a HP Spectre XT netbook. The installed BIOS is F14 and the latest one on their website is F26. I'd like to do an upgrade but they only provide a Windows executable. I tried booting with FreeDOS (using the Ultimate Boot CD), but the executable won't run in DOS, only Windows. I don't want to install Windows anywhere (I don't have it, I replaced it off the system disk with Ubuntu). So how can I upgrade with only Ubuntu installed on my system ? I haven't tried Wine, does it work for that purpose ?
