Ubuntu 20.04 won't wake up from sleep

Issue:

• Whenever the laptop suspends (either due to a closed lid or due to a black screen for a certain time), I cannot wake it up.
• The laptop does not respond to keystrokes and power button clicks. As a result, I always have to hold the power button to shut it down and then power it up again.

Update:

• Tried GRUB_CMD_LINUX="nouveau.modeset=0" in grub config and it didn't work.
• Tried GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nouveau.blacklist=1" in grub config and it didn't work.
• I switched to an old kernel version: 5.0.0-1070-oem-osp1 and made it the default choice because under this kernel the issue is resolved.
• I used this guide for changing the default kernel: How can I boot with an older kernel version? . Thank you @B.Tanner for the idea. I really hope that it will be fixed for newer Kernels in the future.

I am experiencing weird freeze of Ubuntu 20.04. I cannot move the cursor, audio stops and I have to hard reboot with the power button. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7501 (+8GB ram installed by myself) since a month or so, and I installed Ubuntu 20.04 with Win10 Home in dual boot as soon as I received the laptop. Everything in Win10 works fine, and also on Ubuntu since yesterday. I have not installed anything in the past few days.

Initially It happened 3 times when having 1 Mozilla tab with Overleaf, some pdfs (2 or 3) and a python3 shell used as a calculator, running nothing. The fourth time I had 3 Mozilla tab and 1 pdf.

I already tried to increase the swap memory from 2Gb to 8Gb as suggested here Ubuntu 20.04 random freeze ups but it didn't work. I post here the link to the system log files retrieved with the command cat /var/log/syslog of the third and fourth freeze:

I installed the latest Ubuntu "20.04 LTS" on my machine, the installation was successfully and without any error.
The problem is that after the installation when the system starts, during the boot I get this error message "You need to load the kernel first" after the grub.
This error message seems to appear randomically, more often when I do a reboot using sudo reboot now or halt --reboot or rebooting via GUI and when the system is shutted down and I start it normally pressing the power button. Other times the system boots normally and the OS is ok, I can use it and there are no issue.

• Tried different times reinstalling the OS re-downloading the ubuntu image and using different tools in order to create the botable key (rufus, dd, balena etcher, ubuntu disk creator).
• Tried to reinstall the system using no network and disabling thirdy part additional components.

I'm on a Dell Inspiron and secure boot is disabled and the system is not a dual boot, there's only one ssd with a single instance of Ubuntu installed on it.

EDIT If someone is still interested I still want to share info about this.
I didn't found a way to fix the error so I tried to reinstall the OS being sure of using UEFI mode, I followed the official guide by dell, but after the installation process the error was still present. The only way I found to fix the error is entering the BIOS and selecting my nvme as first boot option, disabling the entry relative to ubuntu. Don't ask ehy, I don't know, but now I'm using the system without troubles for months.

I can see this in lsusb but cannot find option to use it in users option in setting

I recently got a new laptop (a Dell Inspiron 15 5000) and have been experiencing stability issues with the wireless connection ever since I installed Ubuntu 18.04. The WiFi will disappear seemingly at random for somewhere between 30 seconds and one minute, then reappear. I have been unable to make it function any quicker by restarting the adapter using ifconfig

The issues are very similar to those described in this askubuntu question. I checked /var/log/syslog as suggested in this bug on Launchpad and did indeed find entries with avahi-daemon[xxx]: Withdrawing address record for xx.xx.xx.xx on interface_name. The suggested solution to disable ipv6 and reboot did not solve the issues.

I am unsure how to properly diagnose the issue and progress from here.

I have tried pinging various addresses while the WiFi is not working, all of which have resulted in the following message: ping: [xxx]: Name or service not known.

Likewise, rfkill list yields the following when the WiFi is not working:
