I'm trying to use StegCracker for a school assignment, however I got a /bin/stegcracker: line 1: 404:: command not found error message.

I tried to install and run StegCracker with the following commands:

sudo apt-get install steghide -y
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Paradoxis/StegCracker/master/stegcracker > /bin/stegcracker
chmod +x /bin/stegcracker
stegcracker 000001.jpg passwordlist.txt
kali-linux-tools

I installed several Kali tools using the Katoolin script. After a while I tried to uninstall these tools, I was able to remove most of them but several apps won't uninstall using sudo apt-get remove <package name> command.

I get: E: Unable to locate package <package name>.

Also tried using sudo apt autoremove <package name> with same result.

I'm assuming the actual package installed under a different name from the one I'm seeing in the Applications window. How can I remove these packages or find their actual name?

I cloned it:

I am wondering if I could install the Kali hacking tools on Ubuntu Vivid Vervet. I have seen multiple guides about installing it on 14.04 - 14.10 but none on 15.04. I have already tried installing the debian repositories which I now know breaks your distro. Before posting duplicates please read what version of Ubuntu the PPA was built for eg. Utopic, Raring etc. I need it for Vivid Vervet.
