I want to download and install LibreOffice 4. How can I do this?
LibreOffice always starts with the recovery process for me now. It has a number of 'documents to recover' for which recovery fails. I have no need for these documents anymore. How to tell LibreOffice to give up?

I would like to have always the latest version of LibreOffice on my machine(s). I know of the PPA that exists but is it recommended to use it with 12.04 for daily use? What are the pro and cons of using the PPA? Will it break my system/Libreoffice installation?
