I am using Ubuntu 18.04 with GNOME. I would like to know if there is any functionality that allows to associate multiple windows in such a way that when one of the windows is minimized all the other are too and when the window is restored all the others too.
I.e. I am working with multiple terminal windows and I would like to group the terminals in N groups, in such a way that when I minimize a terminal window all other terminal windows that belong to that group get minimized too.
How can I minimize a single window in Ubuntu?
I have looked in the keyboard shortcuts and there is a maximize windows but there isn't a minimize windows.
I opened 4 terminals, 3 are visible, the other is minimized.
I want to restore the minimized window, i.e. have the 4 windows visible.
I click the terminal icon, it shows 4 previews. Which preview should I click to restore the minimized window?
Anyway, my goal is to restore the minimized window. If there are better ways, please tell me.
I'm using Ubuntu 18.10 and clicking on an icon of any window (while it's open) do not "minimize" the widow. On Ubuntu Budgie and 16.4, it worked pretty much fine. Was it removed?
I am using Ubuntu 18.04 and used this command
gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock click-action 'minimize'
to turn on minimize on dock with single click on icon. How to revert back and turn off this feature?
Because it's irritating for browser if multiple window open. How to exclude browsers from this settings and/or how to revert back system wide?
