Does anyone know of a plugin that lets you add notes to books in Calibre?

I read quite a lot of books (actual books) and I'm quite used to add little side notes on small sticky notes. Since some books aren't shipped to my location I decided to buy the e-books and use Calibre to read them. Only thing I missed was a way to add notes. I've been using Mendeley for quite some time now, so I know it's possible to add notes but I'm using Mendeley for my work and I don't want to clutter it with e-books. Is there anyone who can help me?

I'm looking for a way to sync Zim notes on my ubuntu with an android device, at least partially. Actually it would be enough for me, if I can somehow sync task list of zim to android.

Well, using an alternative note-taking software might be another option, but among a lot of software claiming to be an alternative, I didn't see any one that is actually capable of replacing Zim. I need to be able to take notes and make to-do lists on the same page (or note) and also be able to see tasks (extracted from to-do lists on different pages) together on another page ordered wrt due dates.

I have many notes in my system. But I see that sticky-notes has disappeared in ubuntu12.04. So what should be done?

Now that Ubuntu One notes web interface has been binned, I need to write an application for my Blackberry to read my Ubuntu One notes. Can someone point me in the direction of an API resource for notes please?

I had been using the notes feature in the web interface of one.ubuntu.com.

I no longer see that Notes feature in the interface. Have my notes been deleted?
