Questions[oracle](ubuntu)

I am trying install Oracle Java 8 on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

$ java --version

Command 'java' not found, but can be installed with:

sudo apt install default-jre            
sudo apt install openjdk-11-jre-headless
sudo apt install openjdk-8-jre-headless  

According tutorial i added ppa:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java

and after that i updated my os:

$ sudo torsocks apt-get update

and then I ran:

sudo apt-get install oracle-java8-installer

But I got :

$ sudo torsocks apt-get install oracle-java8-installer
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Package oracle-java8-installer is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'oracle-java8-installer' has no installation candidate

I found this solution but it is not working and I got same error

A few days ago, I started getting the following error when performing apt-get update:

E: Repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu bionic InRelease' changed its 'Label' value from 'Oracle Java (JDK) 8 / 9 Installer PPA' to 'Oracle Java (JDK) 8 Installer PPA' 
N: This must be accepted explicitly before updates for this repository can be applied. See apt-secure(8) manpage for details.

According to WebUpd8, that, that, that, and that page, I don't seem to need a key for this (anymore).

If I remove the key

/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/webupd8team_ubuntu_java.gpg
pub   rsa1024 2010-05-04 [SC]
      7B2C 3B08 89BF 5709 A105  D03A C251 8248 EEA1 4886
uid   [ unknown] Launchpad VLC

with apt-key del, I (obviously) get

W: An error occurred during the signature verification. The repository is not updated and the previous index files will be used. GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net/webupd8team/java/ubuntu bionic InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY C2518248EEA14886

I need a Step By Step guide for Installing Oracle Database Express Edition version 11g Release R2 on Ubuntu Desktop 12.04.1 LTS 64 bit Edition

Installed Oracle Java with the webupd8 ppa and need to tweak some policy settings (access to clipboard specifically)

(these guys have done alot for the Ubuntu community)

Previously it was under /etc/java-6-oracle

Google doesn't have any answers on this one -- any ideas?

I didn't find any related articles about How to remove Oracle JDK. There are some related articles but they didn't solve the problem.

I installed Oracle JDK tarball file from Oracle site by following this article How do I install Oracle Java JDK 7. It was very helpful. But still I don't know what I should do in order to uninstall Oracle JDK.
