I had privoxy installed on Ubuntu 20.04 and then I uninstalled it using apt remove privoxy.
Right now there isnt any directory or file named privoxy or service named privoxy but when I try to install a pip or yarn package in terminal it tells me it was blocked by Privoxy
What can I do to remove it completely?
Accessing to some repository and website for sanctioned countries always is a big challenge for developers. I try to find the best and easiest way to proxy entire system in Ubuntu with Tor, privoxy and bridge.
I use Privoxy and recently switched back to Opera as browser. Anything is fine, but one thing is annoying: Everytime I start the computer I have to restart privoxy (sudo /etc/init.d/privoxy restart) or Opera shows an error, that it cannot reach the proxy. What is wrong here?
