I am having a weird issue with torrents on ubuntu 20.04. Whenever I try torrenting the torrent gets stuck at "loading metadata from 0 peers". I tried adding more trackers, forwarded the port set in my torrent client through my router (checked and the ports where open), changed network adapter and messed with proxy settings (Including no proxy), used multiple different clients including Transmission and QBitTorrent and nothing works. Anyone having any similar issues? Any solutions? Thanks!
I tried using qBitTorrent after doing a clean install of 20.04. When I ran a test search, it returned an error. I tried turning all permissions on and that made no difference. Since I still have a 19.10 install on another computer I confirmed qBitTorren works there using the regular install. I then tried the snap install. Same network issue as on 20.04. I added the qBitTorrent repository to apt and downloaded direct. That version works fine. (It also starts much more quickly and seems snappier. Pun intended, of course!)
How can I add command in qBittorrent to automatically extract compressed files after download is complete? I am new to Ubuntu and haven't gotten the hang of things quite yet.
qBittorrent just got updated and it's full of bugs. I have to comeback to v4.1.5. How do I do that in Kubuntu 18.10? and in apt-cache it says the version is 4.1.5 I know, but in the app itself, it shows v4.1.6. I updated my system from apt-update last time, that's how it got updated.
$ apt-cache policy qbittorrent

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.03 LTS and have installed qBittorrent v2.9.7 via the Ubuntu software center. But where can I find this program in the file system. I need that in order to define magnet in Firefox Edit/Preferences/Applications.
