How can I set a default profile on Ubuntu 20.04 for all newly created users?
I used to use /etc/skel, but it doesn't work anymore, except for .bashrc or .profile. Indeed, if I copy the .mozilla folder to /etc/skel, it is not copied when a new user logs in. I would also like to remove the welcome windows that you have to pass: geolocation, livepatch...

I come back to the community because I have a sad problem.
I just migrated from Xubuntu 14.04 to Xubuntu 16.04. The environment was personalized. That is to say, every time a student (I am in a high school) connected, he always had the same environment, namely this one:

I was using the /etc/skel folder to do this by copying my .config and .gconf into the /etc/skel folder. It worked perfectly and provided a beautiful desktop.
Problem, I can't reproduce this on my migrated workstation. As soon as a new user logs in, I get this:

I have already done this on Mate 16.04 and Ubuntu 18.04 but now I'm drying out. Problem with XFCE?

I'd like to add a file that opens Google Chrome on a specific Web page the first time a user logs in to an Ubuntu box.
I am guessing it should go in the /etc/skel directory.
I don't know how to make it run only once, similar to the HUD Help that shows up right after the first login in Unity.
I'm making a Live CD with all of the features I need in Ubuntu. I've installed gnome-shell and some extensions and I want to make it start "ON" when the instalation finishes.
I've copied the folders ".config/" and ".gconf/" to "/etc/skel/" after configuring my default user, but every time I install Ubuntu, after that I can't find the default folders (desktop, public, videos, music...).
I've tried everything I knew, does someone know how I can do what I'm trying to?
