I am running Xubuntu 16.04.2 LTS with Xfce 4.12
I have customized the panel, but after saving the changes I got the message:
"Please restart the panel for visibility changes to take effect."
How can I restart the panel?
I installed VNC, using
sudo apt-get install xfce4 xfce4-goodies tightvncserver
But I can't start it, when I enter
vncserver
I'm getting error message as
Couldn't start Xtightvnc; trying default font path.
Please set correct fontPath in the vncserver script.
Couldn't start Xtightvnc process.

I have solved one issue by adding hostname in hosts file. But still having other errors, please help.
Is there any way to see webp photo from Thunar with Xfce DE? There was a similar question, but it was about nautilus.
Then to get webp thumbnails tumbler (the Xfce thumbnailing service) must support, and there nothing.
Then to open pictures the viewer must know webp.
I tried ristretto, gpicview, viewnior and they all say something like:
error of interpretation of the image file format jpeg
I am new to xubuntu, somtimes my xfce desktop crashes, and I can only use tty1 from command line.
I want to know how can I restart my xfce in tty7 from tty1?

I have read this post How do I switch to Xubuntu?, but it tells me to install xubuntu-desktop.
Can I install Xfce (only)? I mean, I don't want to install any application which is not related to Xfce desktop, but becomes dependency of xubuntu-desktop, such as abiword, gthumb, etc. What package should I install?
