I'm looking to use my virtual machine manager to setup a Windows KVM/QEMI. I followed this tutorial...

It's for Arch Linux but I managed to do it. I'm stuck on 7 minutes and 20 seconds. When he goes to KVM manager > Edit > Preferences. I only have the first option available (Enable Sytem Tray Icon).

The other two options...

Enable XML Editing Enable libguestfs VM introspection

...are not there. I tried upading kvm but I still cant get the option to edit the XML.

I am transferring an Android SMS database to my iPhone manually without restoring. Because of the number format of +1562... the iPhone does not recognize the format and creates a new text thread.

I am trying to change +15629876543 to 5629876543 and +17114747474 to 7114747474, and so on.

There are thousands more numbers ranging in size. Any other number that has more than or less than 10 digits, should be untouched.

This seems to be a step in the right direction:

grep -P '(?<!\d)\d{4}(?!\d)' file

I know there is a way to do this, but I just dumped a bunch of my favorite wallpaper files in /usr/share/backgrouds/. In order for my Ubutnu 17.10 to use them, I need to edit the artful-wallpapers.xml file and add each file name to a statement looking like this:

 <name>calm</name>
 <filename>/usr/share/backgrounds/02488_calm_1440x900.jpg</filename>
 <options>zoom</options>
 <pcolor>#000000</pcolor>
 <scolor>#000000</scolor>
 <shade_type>solid</shade_type>
</wallpaper>

This is long and tedious to do one at a time, and I am sure I have merged data before, but for the life of me I cannot remember how.

A script would be very helpful, or at least directions to a tutorial.
