I set L-Alt + L-Shift to switch input languages but now all shortcuts that involve these buttons don't work

Alt + Shift disables shortcuts that use Alt+Shift (Alt + Shift + K, Alt + Shift + I) in my IDE. I really got used to alt+shift on Ubuntu. I used to use Ctrl+Shift but ctrl involves even more shortcuts so I re-learned to Alt+Shift, but at the end of day it still annoys me that I must find workarounds to make shortcuts work in software because Alt + shift prevents any Alt+Shift related shortcuts from working. Is there any fix of this at the moment?
