Questions[blueman](ubuntu)

Installed today Ubuntu 20.04 on my Laptop on a second partition. Unfortunately my Bluetooth suddenly stopped its service and won't connect to my Mouse and Keyboard. I tried this here and also tried to reinstall blueman. I tried to connect with the terminal and did these steps:

bluetoothctl
default-agent
pairable on
devices
trust CA:49:A5:2B:02:C4
pair CA:49:A5:2B:02:C4

I get this Error... Failed to pair: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationRejected

Also if I want to access the Bluetooth Modul via the Bluetooth icon in the right corner next to the wifi icon. I get this error: blueman-assistant crashed with blueman.bluez.errors.DBusInProgressError in callback(): Operation already in progress

I hope you can help me and of course thank you very much in advance!

Background / use case

I photographed 24 paper documents with my Android phone. Each photo is around 8MB (I am planning to resize them later).

I marked all of them in my gallery app and used "share -> bluetooth" to send them to my Linux (Ubuntu Mate) computer.

I think the tool on Linux side is "blueman".

Problem

On my Linux machine:

• I have to click "Accept" for each file separately.
• I have to wait until one file transaction is complete, before I can accept the next file.
• If I take too much time to accept one of the files, the entire operation fails.

This is a huge waste of time and attention.

Question

Is there a way to automatically accept all files from a specific device, or from the same transaction?

My system

Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (bionic)
Distro: Ubuntu Mate
Desktop: Mate
No virtualization

When I was using GNOME, my bluetooth devices worked fine. But now I've moved to i3 and use blueman. When I try to connect to any headphone, blueman throws

blueman.bluez.errors.DBusFailedError: Protocol not available.

In logs there are pretty similar errors:

сен 09 21:00:45 keddad-pc bluetoothd[916]: a2dp-sink profile connect failed for FC:A8:9A:90:B

The only fix I could find is to install pulseaudio-module-bluetooth, but it is already installed. What might cause this problem?

I tried adding

load-module module-bluetooth-policy
load-module module-bluetooth-discover

to /etc/pulse/system.pa as in Arch Wiki, but it didn't fix anything

This gist didn't help either.

I have Sony's WH1000XM2 Bluetooth headphones. Unfortunately , with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, the only connection procedure that works is as follows:

1. Turn on the headphones.

2. The headphones connect, but to all 3 audio profiles ("AudioSink, "Headset" and "Handsfree").

3. Currently, no sound will be played.

4. I then need to disconnect the "Headset" or "Handsfree" profile (works for both) in BlueMan and then reconnect only the "AudioSink" profile.

5. Sometimes I also need to manually switch to A2DP, but most of the time I dont need to.

So my question is as follows:

1. Can I somehow disable the profiles for this specific device?

2. Can I maybe automate the process somehow?

I'm on ubuntu 17.10 and trying to connect my bluetooth headset QCY-Q19. it's able to pair but whenever I try to connect I get this error Connection Failed: blueman.bluez.errors.DBusFailedError: Host is down sometimes it connects for few seconds and then fails with the same error.
