On Ubuntu 24.04, tried to connect my JBL (Flip 4) speaker and my JPL headphones via an USB TP-Link bluetooth dongle.
It discovers my Android phone, but not these JBL devices :(
Any suggestion(s)?

Most of my Bluetooth devices only connects sucessfully after i remove it. Tried to update packages but no use. It even turn off my bluetooth sometimes...
UPDATE: I use dual boot with windows and i found out that when i connect to the device in windows previously this happens.

Today I installed Ubuntu 18.04 x64 LTS on a Dell Latitude E6410i with Windows 7 pre-installed. I connected to my new JBL Flip4 speaker with Bluetooth 4.2 and with A2DP V1.3, AVRCP V1.6, HFP V1.6, and HSP V1.2, and paired it successfully.
I want to auto-connect to the speaker at login; it should connect every time I login to Ubuntu, but does not.
After study, I found suggestions on the web (like Autoconnect to a bluetooth speaker in Ubuntu 16.04), but I can't find rc.local
in my system. Also, I installed bt-autoconnect which does not help.
How should I proceed to resolve this?
Running Kubuntu 18.10, on Lenovo Y530.
On their own, WiFi connection and Bluetooth speakers work fine. If running both, heavy interference is introduced. This first resulted in both WiFi connection dropping to less than 10% of the speed (and, in some cases, upload failing completely), and BT signal jamming/skipping heavily.
I tried setting options iwlwifi bt_coex_active=N
in /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf
, which completely disabled my BT (EDIT: see below). I then set it to bt_coex_active=0
and removed Blueman (not sure if its removal was important), which solved the WiFi problems, but BT signal is still not working (still skipping heavily) if WiFi is used.
EDIT: I now tried setting it to N
again, and it is exactly the same as 0
. Not sure why it didn't work before.
On Windows, everything works fine. Also, everything is fine if I connect to the speakers from my phone - meaning it probably isn't the signal itself getting jammed (sadly, my router doesn't support 5GHz, so I cannot check this thoroughly). I tried changing the WiFi channels, but with no effects.
It might be the driver issue, but the same problem occurs when using a WiFi USB adapter. It might be that, although this adapter was stated as "in use" for the connection, it wasn't really used and WiFi was still going over the built-in cart - I have no idea how to check for this.

Bluetooth was working fine on my laptop (Acer Aspire V17 Nitro) running Ubuntu 18.04, until I used Suspend for the first time and woke it up again. It doesn't detect any devices anymore.
Things I've tried:
Rebooting
Disabling & enabling bluetooth
Restarting the bluetooth service
Re-installing these packages: bluez
gnome-bluetooth
pulseaudio-module-bluetooth

Booting into a live USB and enabling bluetooth there (it doesn't detect any devices there either)
Does anyone have any other ideas? The fact that it failed while suspending or while waking up from a suspend might be a clue.
