How do I create a button on my taskbar along with the time and stuff that performs a specific task? I wanted to be able to disable and enable my keyboard with the help of a keyboard shortcut, but I realized that once I disabled my keyboard with a shortcut, I wouldn't be able to use the keyboard to enable it again. So, I want a button on my taskbar that does this for me with the click of a button, thus not requiring my keyboard.

I'm wondering if it's possible to add a hibernate button to the power menu of ubuntu 20.04. Online I found only solutions which require the use of the terminal.
I'm using Kubuntu 18.04 with:
$ zenity --version
3.28.1
I want to display a --list dialog with zenity, but I don't want to show the Cancel button (in fact I'm okay if there is no OK either).
It should be easy with the --no-cancel option:
$ zenity --list --no-cancel
--no-cancel is not supported for this dialog
The output seems to indicate that zenity knows about the option but does not want to let me use it.
I only want to show the user the data in a table. I don't care about selection/editing or getting a result back.
Is there any alternative way? Or is zenity simply unable to do this?
My system shuts down when I push te power button instead of suspending like most laptops. There are many complex forum solutions for that on the net, but I like to solve it with this command:
"gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power button-power suspend;"
The only problem is lubuntu uses LXQt now, so the result is: No such schema “org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power”...
My question, what would be the equilavent gsettings command for lubuntu 18.10? Thanks for any idea's offered.
I have noticed, that although my "Bluetooth Headset" works perfectly fine, buttons on it, like Previous, Next, Play etc do not.
Why is that?
