When Gnome Files (nautilus) is in list view I sometimes still want to open the right-click menu that otherwise appears when you right-click into the empty space of a folder. (The one that lets you open the terminal etc.) Is that somehow possible?

Is it possible to add new items into context menu in Dolphin (KDE Plasma) if I right click on something?
I would like to make a script called Move to applications, which will show only if I right click on a .desktop file and then it will move it to /usr/share/applications/ folder. Or is there a faster way for moving .desktop files to /usr/share/applications/ folder.
I work with a lot of csv files and I open them with either gedit or libreoffice at different times. I would like to have them both in the context menu to save time.
In the past, there was this sub-menu where I could select open with and it lists other applications, without opening a second menu. This new behaviour wastes several useful seconds.
Is there an option to bring this context menu entry back? Or any hacks to get a similar behaviour?
When I press Ctrl+Shift+E in a native Linux app (e.g., Gedit, TODO, Geary, etc), nothing happens. Why is this, and how can I get a key combo for the default system emoji menu to work?
I have tried setting it to a different key combo with ibus-setup. I restart my machine each time I try this, as ibus exit, ibus restart, ibus-daemon & all have no (observable) effect (on this issue).
Every other ibus-setup setting will change and respect my settings. Every other key combination I set up in GNOME 3 works just fine. Only a key combo assigned to the Emoji picker fails. I can right click Gedit and select the "Insert Emoji" just fine, but grabbing the mouse is a huge flow disruptor ?.
I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 with the latest version of GNOME desktop. I've also verified that I have nothing mapped to any of the key combos I chose, nor the default (Ctrl Shift E).
Can someone help me find the source of this issue, and how I can resolve?

The goal is to add context menus to Pcmanfm/Lubuntu (assuming it's possible). If not possible with Pcmanfm, I'd try with another file manager.
I briefly tried Thunar and there was a list of parameters on it's action tool, but the list wasn't complete and I didn't understand the usage of some of the codes (I did read the tutorial). The information assumes a level of knowledge a little greater than mine. (Although I used context menus heavily in Windows, I generally used just one %-type parameter -- %s if I recall correctly.) So I'm looking for a master list and a comprehensive tutorial that explains usage of the parameters in Linux/Ubuntu.
