That is for creating a video tutorial. I want the screen and my voice. I have tried many recorder, but that only record the screen and internal video.
I am using Ubuntu 18.04.01 LTS. I have spent a lot of time searching for Screen Recorders for the Ubuntu GNOME Wayland.
I have tried several Screen Recorders such as Simple Screen Recorder and Vokoscreen, but the result is only a blank screen with the cursor.
Any suggestions for me?
I'm trying to use Kazam to take videos of the screen. It always records the 1/4 of top left of my screen, no matter what I do. No matter if I select the entire screen, a window or select a piece of the screen to record.
I guess it has to do with scaling. I use scaling in my ubuntu because it's a 4k monitor. Is there a way to overcome this?
According to: https://help.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/screen-shot-record.html.en
We can record our screens using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+R, works very well. But I have 2 screens or monitors. When recording, the software captures both screens, but I only need to capture one.
How can I record only one screen?
How can I record my screen on Ubuntu?
The app I'm looking for has ideally all of these features:
- Can record in a format that can be played back easily on any platform and/or accepted by YouTube or another popular video site
- Can record just a window (instead of the whole screen), possibly selecting it with a mouse click
- Can start recording after a configurable delay (e.g., I launch the app and have time to do arrangements to my desktop/window before actual recording starts)
