I don't know if it is normal, but the nautilus menu bar doesn't appear in Ubuntu 18.04.
Now I am only using shortcut keys to copy, select all, cut, paste, etc. I didn't find answers after much search about Ubuntu 18.04.
I can't see a menu bar in folders with the familiar categories like
File Edit View Go (bookmarks?) Help
What should I do?

I have a ubuntu 18.04 and configured dash to panel in it, also I've added the Applications Menu extension, to show me some categories.
It's beautiful and it's working smoothly, but I don't have a system tray anymore, some programs that I use, like Steam and Google Chrome (for chrome apps) are better accessed through the system tray icon.
Could you please show me the way to configure it, or to install/configure another taskbar with a category menu that might have the system tray?
Sorry but I dislike the the default menu that show everything at once (dash?), also I'm not fond of having two bars, one at the side and one at the top.
This applies to Nautilus, Gedit, and others. I would like to select, for example, Copy and Paste from a drop down menu, but I am forced to use either the right-click menu or Ctrl-C Ctrl-V shortcuts, because the drop-down menus are non-existent. These menus provided easy access for many essential functions, and I would like to use them on Ubuntu 18.04.

I know there are similar questions about this issue, but the answers are not definitive and recommend installing Gnome Global Application Menu, which does not implement this feature properly. Also, there are rumors that this shell extension is no longer supported. In either case, it doesn't work.
I've tried several settings, installed Gnome Tweak Tool, logged in with Unity User interface, but nothing works. It doesn't matter if the menus are located in the window's title bar or the top menu bar, as long as they are available somewhere.
My question is: Is it even possible to have these drop-down menus, or should I just give up and stop wasting my time?
I just upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04. In my previous version, the title, status, and the "File ..." menu were all bundled together in a neat little bar for every maximized window.
Now they are all separate, and as you can see they are taking up a huge amount of screen real estate. Is there any way to get some of it back?

There is only a menu item quit inside Pycharm on the top bar, other menu items like File, Edit, View are on the different bar, how can I make it look like macOS?
BTW, when I googling it, I found this extension. but looks like it doesn't work on 18.04 and makes system unstable.
