UBUNTU 20.04
I have PCSX2 but in order for it to run correctly I need to open the terminal and run:
vblank_mode=0 /usr/games/PCSX2-linux.sh
having to do this every time is a bit of an annoyance so is it possible to attach this command to PCSX2 so when it runs it automatically applies this fix?
PS: brand new to ubuntu so apologies if this is a stupid question.
I'm using the Linux build of PCSX2 on Ubuntu 19.10. This is currently version 1.5.0-0.
When I go to GS plugins, I see 3 options.
GSdx (GCC 8.2.0 SSE4.1/AVX) 1.1.0 [libGSdx-SSE4]
GSdx (GCC 8.2.0 SSE2/AVX) 1.1.0 [libGSdx]
GSdx (GCC 8.2.0 AVX2/AVX2) 1.1.0 [libGSdx-AVX2]
Could someone please explain what GSdx, SSE* and AVX* are, and what the differences between these plugins is?
I was using a 4.15.0-20-generic default kernel, but for some hardware support with virtualization I was needed to build a new kernel from the kernel.org sources. I've just setted some modules to be loaded as module and not built-in, for details about what I've done its here
I use PCSX2 on this computer (the host in my case) but it didn't works with this new kernel (5.4.6), and I get this error :
Failed to create the opengl context. Check your drivers support openGL 3.3
I already tried to install pcsx2-unstable to see if it makes difference but not and also with another kernel (4.19.91) but I get the same issue.
I've been trying to get PCSX2 to work (PS2 emulator) and when I load an ISO it crashes giving out the error in the title.

I suppose my question is; how can I apply these fixes to Ubuntu 18.04?
I think I am supposed to edit a configuration file for pulseaudio to increase the buffer size, but I can only find the examples for other distros.
