I'm really trying to run this simple .py file in QTerminal, but no matter what I try, I just can't get it to run. There's nothing special or complicated about the code in the file, it's just something simple.

Every time I try to run the file I get:-

Traceback (most recent call last):
     File "Tut1.py", line 3, in <module>
       from tkinter import *
ImportError: No module named tkinter

I'm certain I've properly installed Python 3 via:

sudo apt-get install python3-tk

And I've also verified the installation. I've also added:

#!/usr/bin/env python3

But that seems to have done nothing. I can use tkinter fine in Pycharm, but running the file in QTerminal just doesn't seem to work at all. Is there anything else I can try? I am using Lubuntu 19.10.

I installed python3.5 and some package like opencv, Tesrflow, keras and etc when my Linux version was 16.04. But after upgrading the Linux version from 16.04 to 18.04, the new version of python 3.6 has been installed. So, I face with major problem:

Some package and dependencies such as OpenCv, Tensorflow, .. were installed in python3.5, but the major package (python3-tk) which is necessary for image processing and GUI is deleted from python3.5 and it works just in python3.6. On the other hand Tensorflow and .. just work in Python3.5. I run the following command but noting happen:

sudo apt-get install python3.5-tk

The Error is:

E: Unable to locate package python3.5-tk
E: Couldn't find any package by glob 'python3.5-tk'
E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'python3.5-tk'

How can I install python3-tk just for python3.5 on Ubuntu 18.04??

Is there any way to remove python3.5 without lose the dependencies??

or Can I mount or share the dependencies between two version??

I am not able to change the font family of the label in tkinter.

When these same fonts are ran using Python it's acting weirdly. As you can see how most of the fonts which were looking different using TCL codes are becoming the same font with Python (even though some fonts change).

I also removed tcl/tk and reinstalled (8.6 version) them. Even then it's of no use. Or is there any way that I can add more fonts to the tcl/tk?

I have python3-tk installed. I already tried purging and installing it. Doesn't change anything. (Interestingly, the /usr/lib/python3.5/tkinter still existed after pruging... and manually removing it did only lead to another error)

How can I fix this problem?

I am trying to make a very first desktop application using tkinter in pycharm like this.
