I have a large pdf file (83 MB) and I want to translate it. I tried to split the file with pdftk
and translate each part with https://www.onlinedoctranslator.com/en/ (The file can't be larger than 10 MB) but it is very labor-intensive. The preferred translator would be Google engine. If there is no easy way to automatize this task It would be helpful if you give me a tip how to split pdf to parts of even size (in MBs).
I am looking for a software or media player that has subtitles automatically. For example with VLC, if I do not have the subtitle file, I can not have the subtitles.
Is there any software that allows me to translate English subtitles to Spanish automatically?
In Windows with Qtranslate you can select text from any program(ebook reader, pdf, doc etc.), press some shortkey and translate it. Are there any alternatives for Ubuntu/Linux? There a lot of extensions(like S3.Translator for Firefox) but they just translate something that's in the browser's tab.
I've downloaded the package but as I'm trying to open it I get this message:
Archive: /home/agnes/Downloads/ggtranslate.exe
[/home/agnes/Downloads/ggtranslate.exe]
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.

/home/agnes/Downloads/ggtranslate.exe.zip, and cannot find /home/agnes/Downloads/ggtranslate.exe.ZIP, period.
I just started my new project right now, however I can't find any documentation on how I should proceed to accept translations on it.
- how I should proceed to accept translations through the launchpad.net?
- I really need to create a Translation group to start accept this kind of contribution?
I do not care if you are a translator or developer, I'm really interested in hearing from both sides. So, go make your answer below and don't forget to suggest best practices too. Thanks!
