As you can read in the title, I accidentally installed 2 Discord apps; one is from the Ubuntu Software and the other is from the .deb file in the Discord website.
I came here to ask you if there's an easy way to uninstall the app from the .deb file to keep only the one from the Snap Store
I newly installed Ubuntu 20.04 in Lenovo i3 PC, but the Snap Store application is not shown in the application menu. When I check on Ubuntu store it is shown that the Snap Store is already installed.
On one installation of 20.04, snap refresh
caused the snap-store snap to be updated, which made the orange "Ubuntu Software" icon disappear, and in its place is the "Snap Store" with a different icon. Same thing happened on another installation when updating "Snap Store" through the store itself.
How can I restore the original orange icon and "Ubuntu Software" label?
Looking through top, I saw a process called "store" taking up one of my CPUs. What is this process? Perhaps it is referring to the app store? If so, I wonder why it is working in the background.
Googling was unhelpful because "store" is too commonly used with other meanings. man, info, and help all did not have an entry for "store."

As documented here I am a game developer and have created a game on Unreal Engine and I have put my game package on git in a private repository. Can I use this to deploy the package on to the Ubuntu store? Or do I need to make it public?
