Is it possible to install Google keyboard on Ubuntu Linux to achieve voice typing in any editor?
I have a problem with Ubuntu 18.04 and chromium for some time. It also happens with Mint 19. In all applications or websites where I need to use the microphone (and that I could use before) such as dictation.io, or voice to text, when I press the microphone button to capture the sound, he always tells me "there is no Internet connection". I have Connection. Permissions to use the microphone too. And the microphone works well, because I can record with it. I do not know what it can be, but any help will be appreciated, because I have searched and searched for the same problem and possible solutions and I have not found anything. Thank you all for everything
I can't find an easy way to install Simon voice recognition software on Ubuntu 18.04. What is the easiest way?
If you know an alternative that can be installed on Debian or Ubuntu let me know. Wrist problems and a voice recognition to control my station would be more than welcome.
I need a way to launch a software, or make its window visible if it has been launched already, using some voice recognition facility. I'd like to achieve this following result:
- I say "netbeans" > netbeans gets launched
- I say "chrome" > chrome gets launched and is put at the top of the windows stack.
- I say "netbeans" > netbeans (which is open already) is brought to the top of the windows stack (only two in our case: chrome and netbeans).
Is it doable?
Thanks
Although I like face recognition, I'd prefer to use voice recognition login. Is it possible? If it's possible how do I setup the software?
