The script command typescripts of everything displayed on your terminal.
But sometimes when the output is in colors, it's complaining "output.txt" may be a binary file. See it anyway? if output.txt is the output of the session.
Is there a work-around?
After running sudo apt autoremove in order to remove packages they are no longer needed I'm getting the following messages:

I tried to reinstall MySQL but I was having problems. Initially I tried to solve the problem by reinstalling GNOME control center, but this didn't work and I am still experiencing problems trying to reinstall MySQL.
I'm unable to reinstall Gnome Control Center by running the following command on the terminal:

When I run $PATH on my terminal in Ubuntu 18.04.3, it displays the following:

The first part of $PATH (/home/ubuntu/bin) shows up twice. Why?

I want to check the consistency of a file system and fix the errors. What are the safety considerations in running fsck -f -y on a file system?
I'm running:

and I'm getting:

The superblock could not be read or does not describe a valid ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
or
e2fsck -b 32768 <device>
Any advice? What's wrong with the partition and what should I do about it??

searches the file for STRING and lists the lines that contain a match. How can I also list two lines that follow the match?
I'm not sure I understand backups with Clonezilla. Will Clonezilla erase the destination (backup) disk as it creates a backup or will all the previously saved files be preserved on the backup disk?
I have a bootable 32 GB Ubuntu USB stick with persistent storage.
The 32 GB USB stick is getting full, so I want to clone it into a 64 GB USB stick and increase both the casper-rw and the usbdata partition.
Here is how I cloned the 32 GB USB stick into the 64 GB USB stick. First, I issued the following command:
lsblk
and got this result:
Second, I used the DD command:
sudo dd if=/dev/sdb of=/dev/sde status=progress
Third, I powered-off the computer, removed the 32 GB stick and powered on the computer. The system booted correctly from the new USB stick and it seems that all the files are there.
Forth, I loaded the GParted utility and here is the snapshot:
Now back to my original question: How do I proceed in order to increase the casper-rw and usbdata partitions using the free/unallocated space without losing any data?
