How can I resize the dock when I'm on searching menu?

I disable Dock in Ubuntu

And now I have other "Dock" when I'm on searching menu I mean.

How can I resize it? Because icons are too big.

When I start Ubuntu I had my "home/user" in my Desktop.

test is my User.

How do I make the folder not be on the desktop?

I had an error when I launched rstudio (R was successful installed) in the terminal, my output is :

I installed Rstudio after R and i checked that R works well. The problem is that when i start the program only see a window so big (Pic). And the window continue over desktop.

Someone can me explain my efibootmgr -v output like why is a Unknow Device or what mean RC and the end of Boots. How can solve it?

I ll explain how i installed ubuntu to be more rigorous.

All start when i plug my flash drive in my laptop. i selected the usb to be the first to boot and the screen show me this.

To solve it i went to security and i selected Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing

Then USB0 next efi next boot next grubx64.efi and i called ubuntuinstallusb and then i reboot pc and i went to BIOS again and selected EFI File Boot 0: ubuntuinstallusb first to boot

Then worked and i continuous like a typical instalation, On instalation type i selected Something else and my configuration was that:

(Note: /dev/sdb is the flash drive)

And i finished the instalation. When I reboot the pc the screen displayed me this:

I selected ok then i saw this:

I choose the first (Unknown Device: MQ...) one and the screen showed me this:

(Note: This option only showed up the first time when i started ubuntu)

Then i press any key and saw this:

I choosed the Continue Boot and Ubuntu start normally then in terminal i writted efibootmgr -v and show me the 'error' which is described in the beginning. Thx

Is there any software that does the same as the macOS feature "Shake to Find Cursor" for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

I want to install ubuntu 18.04 LTS 2 times and windows, I have a ssd of ~240 gb and an hdd of ~ 900 gb and I wanted to install a ubuntu in the ssd and another one in the hdd alongside windows. I have a question before installing them which is that in the group at the time of having 2 ubuntus and Windows installed I can do something that leaves me as first the last one I have used?. Thx

How can I install the latest version of maxima (5.43.0) on ubuntu 18.04 LTS I tried sudo apt install maxima but I downloaded an old version and I don't know how to upgrade or dowload the new version.
