I've installed the mainline kernel 4.18 from here http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.18/ using ubuntu 18.04
The packages are unsigned and now grub is complaining about it at each update.
E: Your kernels are unsigned. This system will fail to boot in a secure boot environment.
How can I make the message go away? Or get some 4.18 signed?
I am not looking into building my own kernel.
Is this the expected behavior for gnome-calendar?
I have no calendars linked and no online accounts anymore.
On Ubuntu 18.04 I've changed my shell to fish via
chsh -s `which fish`
I've installed Maillspring and Visual Studio Code snap apps, they installed fine and could be launched from the dash initially, but after logging in and logging back out none of them showed up in the dash anymore.
Searching for them in software store shows that are installed and I can launch them from there.
Why will the default shell matter for this?
I latest gnome when I change layout of between dvorak vs plain english, keyboard shortcuts dan't change, they remain mapped to the old layout.
How can I force them to change also without restarting the session?
Does linux support usb-c yet? So far only the power function seems to work, my phone will start charging when I plug it in.
I'm wondering if Ubuntu supports USB-C yet - in my experience, only the charging feature works when I connect my phone.
Are there extra program needed to enable it?
If it is not available at all yet, is there a good place to follow progress on the development?
After updating to ubuntu 15.10 conky show window borders and shadows.
Any way I can get around it?

The other two problems with it, is that it appears in the docker as an icon and it also stays only on one screen.
I've installed the oibaf graphics drivers https://launchpad.net/~oibaf/+archive/ubuntu/graphics-drivers on ubuntu 14.04 lte, with latest kernel 4.2.3.
I have a thinkpad x1 gen3 with intel 5500 graphics card.
After the install the graphic performance is greatly improved but the wifi does not work anymore.
Any ideas on how to get this to work?
I am planning to purchase a Targus 3.0 docking station, does anybody have experience with it on Ubuntu.
