In the Programming mode of gcalctool, you have a log button, which calculates the logarithm, but how do I know what base it's using and how do I change it?
For example, how would I calculate the base 2 logarithm for 16?
I've just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 and would like to try out the new Heads-up Display (HUD) interface.
How do I make it show up?
When you go to "Startup Applications", you see a list of commands that are executed at startup and you can add your own.
I would like to know where this list is stored. Is it in gconf somewhere?
There are two reasons I want to know this:
- add commands programmatically
- disable some commands (in Oneiric, the default ones are not shown anymore)
I would like to not show the trash icon at the bottom of the Unity launcher.
Is this possible without having to recompile anything? :P
