After my server has run out of RAM, unstable nomachine remote desktop tool has disconnected and now, after reboot of the server, it doesn't want to connect saying:

The server was unable to make the local display available or access to the local display is disabled.

I tried reinstalling server-side nomachine's DEB file with purging. Tried reinstalling MATE desktop, I still get this message and I don't know what to do. How to make it work again?

Tried to run /usr/NX/bin/nxserver --restart it also doesn't help.

Also tried restarting nxserver service, I've found some strange errors in journalctl:

I am tring to connect from Windows x2go client to linux server with x2go, black window splashes and goes away, I can't catch the error message. Where can I find a log file?

I've surprisingly found one more user in the list (not available on this sample picture from the internet) with name "\". I don't see such a user in /home folder. I don't remember myself adding this user to the system. What might this be? What can I do to remove it?

I am using this windows client to access Ubuntu:

When I reconnect, clipboard usually works, but some time later it usually stop working. But clipboard I mean copying in windows and pasting in Windows. This is version of my server: 4.1.0.3-0~1708~ubuntu18.04.1. Are there any related known issues? I was not able to google anything, but this happens regularly and reproduces for other developers in my team.

Sometimes, probably after last ubuntu upgrade, my keyboard doesn't work in this particular input:

I can paste, but I can't type. Keyboard works everywhere else. Sometimes it works even in menu, but mostly doesn't. How can I fix this? (I also can't take exact screenshot of KDE search/menu, because PrintScreen button closes menu and makes wrong screenshot of everything else, so I am using typical picture from the net here.)

I am connecting from Ubuntu Linux 18 to another Ubuntu linux machine with x2go. Connection works, but some keys don't, especially arrow keys. When I press up arrow, it starts screen capture:

I tried some recipes from this question: https://serverfault.com/questions/582552/x2go-arrow-key-is-not-working-properly but they don't help. setxkbmap us -print | xkbcomp - $DISPLAY -- doesn't fix the problem. I tried to play with keyboard settings here:

but it doesn't help also. How can I fix it?

UPDATE: my x2go client version is:

UPDATE 2 I've followed instruction from wiki.x2go.org updating x2goclient to 4.1.2.2-0~1913~ubuntu18.04.1 and x2goserver to 4.1.0.3-0~1708~ubuntu18.04.1. The problem is still there.

When I try to server with x2goclient, I get this error:

how can I fix it?

UPDATE: Both computers are on same local network with no firewalls, ssh connection between them works perfectly. Both computers are running Ubuntu 18.04, software versions: x2goserver 4.1.0.0-3 and x2goclient 4.1.1.1-2.

After server restart, I can not connect to it with x2go anymore, this is x2goclient says to me:

I see no relevant logs in my ~/ folder, any ideas how can I fix this?

I am using desktop Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, I have to wired network cable connected, I am working over WIFI. But sometimes, when I work, suddenly I get annoying notification that enp108s0 interface is up in my tray (I haven't connected my cable). If I disconnect it, it goes up again later. How can I fix it?

I need to set static IP address on Jetson nano. I have edited /etc/network/interfaces

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
  address 192.168.1.192
  netmask 255.255.255.0
  gateway 192.168.1.255

Currently eth0 is disabled:

But it fails to go up:

how can I fix this?

I've removed all nvidia drivers with apt: apt list --installed | grep nvidia returns nothing. But if I take a look at dmesg, I see for example:

how do I remove all this stuff from my system?

I've installed teamviewer on Jetson nano following this instruction: Tutorial TeamViewer 14 on Nvidia Jetson TX2. It fails in two ways:

• if I launch it from command line, i get following output:

  Init...
  Error: CheckCPU: unknown architecture 'aarch64'
  

• if I connect to it after setting password through command line, it allows to enter login remotely, but after entering password it immediately disconnects.

I tried changing WaylandEnable /etc/gdm3/custom.conf, but it doesn't help. What else can I try?

How do I fix the problem?

I need to set higher resolution on my Zotac XBOX. This is list of resolutions which I see in the dropdown box:

I need to select this 1680x1080 resolution. Currently if I select it, it doesn't work and goes back to currently selected 1280x800. This resolution is supported by Windows on same PC and also I've clearly seen it working during first logins to Ubuntu after installation. But somehow later it has downgraded to 1280x800. This is output of my xrandr:

I've added this last line from cvt, but as I said earlier, it doesn't work:

It seems that I need to change something in video driver, but there is no Linux drivers on ZOTAC website. Also there is no driver here:

What else can I try to do? I clearly remember that this resolution worked successfully on this Ubuntu 18 with this hardware.

May be problem is video card driver, this is how windows uses this device according to GPUZ:

UPDATE2: interesting observation: initial system login dialog somtimes has good resolution. And also if I install xorg intel driver, then I get good resolution, but mouse and keyboard are dead.

UPDATE3: I've found out that if I disconnect PC from 220V, turn off monitor, then start everything again, then resolution is good. If during my work screensaver starts or cable gets reconnected, then it goes to this 1280x800 mode and there is no way back except this hard restart. (This device has alike problems on Windows, but it is not about limited set of modes there, but monitor sometimes can't resurrect at all after cable reconnect). I've installed mate and xrdp on Ubuntu 18.04. Now I try to connect to this PC from another Ubuntu with Remmina:

How do I fix or diagnose this brilliant piece of software?

I don't have physical access to jetson nano machine, but I want to install DeepStream. It fails because of dependencies:

How can I install these dependencies without sdkmanager, which requires direct access to device via USB? I tried to find cuda for arm64, but on nvidia website there is no way to download them, only amd64. Are there public repositories with cuda-cudart-10-0, libnvinfer5 and the rest of it.

I tried downloading https://cmake.org/files/v3.11/cmake-3.11.0.tar.gz and building it, but there is no cmake-gui in ./bin subfolder after build. Is cmake-gui supplied in another source archive?
