There are some answers for the previous Ubuntu versions, but I couldn't apply them since the network settings interface has changed.
I can create a wi-fi hotspot while I am not connected with a wire. But when I plug in the ethernet cable, the wi-fi dropdown in the panel shows "Wi-Fi Hardware Disabled" text.
When I go to Wi-Fi settings, the toggle does not work. I click on three dots on top right and click on Create Hotspot, a pop-up screen shows up to set the password for hotspot; after clicking on OK, it disappears and wi-fi hotspot still isn't opened.

How can I connect to an ethernet cable (wired connected) and open a wi-fi hotspot at the same time?

I created a new user for hadoop, I am using the computer with the new user, I mean I switched to it. After using in this new user I have lots of bugs:

• I can't change keyboard layout, It was Turkish Q but it changed to US. Settings->Region and language->Adding new input source doesn't work.
  
• I can't pin anything to the task bar, I can't change the applications positions, I can't unpin.
  
• I can't change desktop background image.
• Ubuntu asks me for upgrade every hour(this seems stopped after playing with Software Updater)
  This seemed a chmod or sudo problem to me. What do you suggest?

I created user by this way:

sudo addgroup hadoop
sudo adduser --ingroup hadoop hduser 

After that, I switched to the new user with "Switch user" option. I tried logging out too.

I need to open google-chrome with a specific position and location from Terminal on Ubuntu 18.04. I tried google-chrome --window-position=10,10 --window-size=500,300 But it always opens full screen. How can I force Chrome open in a small screen with a position?

I am trying to automate some stuff using selenium.

I use Chrome for some reason but I can't instantiate Chrome that I am using normally. I used webdriver_manager, but it install Chrome again in another directory.

To instantiate Chrome without these problems, I need to find chromedriver file (and pass the directory of the file to the python script), but this file doesn't seem to exist anywhere. I installed chrome by www.google.com/chrome ,it gave me a deb file and I opened it with "Software Install".

How can I find the chromedriver file?

I was trying to install npm, but I got an error: npm : Depends: node-gyp (>= 0.10.9) but it is not going to be installed

So I searched the internet and found an answer: npm : Depends: node-gyp (>= 0.10.9) but it is not going to be installed

I wrote

sudo apt-get install nodejs-dev node-gyp libssl1.0-dev

Now, The ros projects doesn't run, I was using PX4-Autopilot and now it doesn't run.

Why does this happen? And if I install Ros and the other packages back, will they remove Node?

I am using Ubuntu and Windows together. Sometimes I need to use Windows, so I need to restart my computer, but since I am doing lots of things, I don't want them to be closed. For example I run VS Code in a desktop, I have some Chrome tabs and some Ros application on Terminal in another (virtual) desktop. When I close my computer, all of these are closed. When I restart it, it just opens empty.

I don't want the programs reopened, I want them stay in the same state. The VS code tabs must stay the same, the terminal must have the same texts on it, the virtual desktops must be the same again. This is kind of making computer sleep .

Is there a way to do this?

I want to add a new file to any directory by just one or two clicks. There is a way like using the terminal and touch command, but I want it to be easier so that it can be done by anybody. Is there a simple way to do this?
