mouse connected to the usb port stops working all of a sudden in several ubuntu machines. it does work properly on a reboot and for sometime, if I use the same mouse on a different ubuntu machine it works fine without any issues.

Ubuntu 12.04.5 wireless connectivity stopped working all of a sudden from today morning onwards. I am able to access Skype, but not any website through my wireless carrier. I have tried different routers and via LAN but nothing seems to help. Appreciate any inputs

I have 2 wireless routers (ground floor - c1, first floor - c2). I would like the Ubuntu machines in my LAN to see only the above wireless routers (c1, c2) and not routers outside my building (say the adjacent building). What should I do in order to achieve this?

Ubuntu 12.04 machine connects to an unknown wireless network automatically even if the connection is not visible in the list of wireless connections. This seems to be like a rogue network, how should I prevent auto connection to this wireless network.

I have 2 wireless networks, but only one of them is configured to auto connect to a certain network.

How to add/remove of user accounts of a remote Ubuntu machine, from a local Ubuntu machine in the LAN?

I have the following directory structure.

dirA/[fileA, someB, barC, fileD, someE, barF] dirB/[fileA, barC, someE]

I want to copy only files from dirA to dirB which are already present in dirB. How do I do this selective copy?

What is the most popular open source password manager which I can use on a Ubuntu machine or preferably across Ubuntu/Windows machines with some form of data compatibility. If there is a free web based version, that would be even more preferable.

What should I do in order to install the subversion client?

SVN client is only needed and we don't need the server on all machines.

Also we don't need GUI access on Ubuntu machines.
