I have a laptop with a USB-C port to which I connected my USB-C earphones (earbuds from Google, not the Bluetooth ones). The device is correctly listed in the audio output channels, but selecting them doesn't affect the audio system, which continues to output from the laptop speakers.

As you can see from the screenshot above, I selected the device, but when I press "Test Speakers" the audio keeps coming from the Laptop Speakers.

I tried pavucontrol and the USB-C device is not listed there. See screenshot below

If I use the command line utility speaker-test, I am able to force the audio through the earphones. Specifically this command works perfectly.

speaker-test -D plughw:earbuds -c 2

Any suggestion on how to route the system audio through the earphones?

I have two accounts set up in evolution that I'm not able to remove nor from Evolution itself neither from the online account panel.

In evolution the "Delete" button is disabled when I select those two accounts

In Online Accounts they are not present in the list so I can not remove them.

The accounts I wish to remove are the ones with the half-globe icon

I setup a VPN PPTP connection via network manager and it connects correctly (I see the lock near the notification icon and the message "Vpn connection has been successfully...")

As soon as I try to perform any SSH connection via the established tunnel the connection itself goes down with the message "Vpn connection failed".

Please note that the same vpn is configured on my colleagues Windows 7 and works without problem when they use putty to connect via SSH

After a few hours from the login, Glippy stops working. It still receive input from the clipboard, storing everything highlighted or copied, but when I try to recover an older clipboard item by selecting it from the dropdown menu, it doesn't work.

I don't know where to look for logs/debugging so if you have any suggestion on how to investigate further please comment and I'll add more details to the question.

Seems like google accounts authorized are not persistent. Every time I reboot "online accounts" loses the permissions and I have to re-authorize Ubuntu.

Is this the default behaviour? Is there any patch/fix?
