Why is it that so many installed programs that do not show up in the Menu ?
I am using Ubuntu_Mate 24.04.
I try to use Synaptic Package Manager,but many programs are not listed.
When that occurs I have do a search for how to start the program.
I am willing to add programs to the Menu manually.
How can I adjust the pencil width in Gimp ?
When I used the pencil, I got this mess.
When I open an image in any of 3 image editors, the image is "chopped off."
My browser and android phone show it correctly.
How can I fix it?
How can I play a sound when connected to the internet? I found a python script but there should be an simpler solution.
I just want to play a sound upon connection. Even notify-send would work.
I want to know when an internet connection is possible, so I do not start my browser and get a "can not find the webpage.".
