I'm getting the above error when I try and update my system.
I have tried to sudo dpkg --configure -a as well as sudo apt install -f gimp, sudo apt remove gimp and sudo apt purge gimp. I even tried to do the recommended sudo apt --fix-broken install via Recovery to no avail.
Due to being super frustrated and after some searching, I even tried to sudo mv /var/lib/dpkg/info/polar-bookshelf.* /tmp but I'm still seeing no joy in getting this fixed. Can someone suggest a solution please?
Why? This was a fantastic and modern theme that wasn't too bright and was easy on the eyes.
It just refuses to boot up. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04

It works on Ubuntu 17.04 with Unity, however neither via upgrade or a fresh install, does the screenshot keyboard button work on Ubuntu 17.10 with GNOME shell.
Can anyone tell me why or how to fix it?
I've read a few things but can't get a definitive answer.
So to confirm, is it
sudo ubuntu-drivers devices
sudo apt-get install nvidia-381
and then to switch back, it would be simply
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
So just to clarify, to switch to the video drivers you want, you're essentially installing them rather than just enabling them?
If I want to share a screenshot, I currently need to either save the screenshot and then navigate to the file in order to send it or upload it to a image host/server.
Does anyone know how I can directly share screenshots from Ubuntu desktop? e.g. Directly from the screenshotting application to another app like for example Telegram or another instant messenger. So without having to find the file on disk in the open dialog or otherwise. A good example of this is in Android whereby if you take a screenshot, you can share it from the notification drawer to Telegram, etc.
Please note that sharing directly and uploading to a website or not one in the same.
Bonus points if you have any insight into whether or not this might be planned for future versions as a result of convergence, as that's something that's pretty native for mobile?
If I unlock my laptop, I'm forced to manually close the HUD. I've been finding that it's automatically opening with each time I unlock the machine. It's only happening on one of my devices running 13.10 but I can't figure it out. Have I ticked an option I didn't know about? How do I prevent this?
