I have upgraded to 16.04 LTS (from 15.10). Wi-Fi and LAN both shows connected, but internet is not working.
I have done re-installation of Broadcom wi-fi drivers (through additional drivers), restarted network-manager services. But problem not solved.
After I installed some updates, MySQL-workbench app's Menu bar is showing duplicate menu entries.
The same issue was there for GIMP as well. But clean-remove and installing back again solved this problem.
Please let me know if there is any alternative to resolve this issue (If possible permanently), other than remove-and-install.
I am facing a strange problem. On 15.04 (64-bit) USB mouse stops working whenever power source connects or disconnects.
However if unplug the mouse and plug it back, it will start working.
Can any one help me fix this issue permanently?

After upgrading to Kubuntu 15.04, I am having a lot of problems. On reboot, it was stuck at Kubuntu logo (it keeps on glowing) but nothing happens.
On switching to Recovery mode, I was getting "Error getting authority: Error initializing authority: Could not connect: No such file or directory (g-io-error-quark, 1)".
From recovery mode, I have removed Kubuntu, KDE and switched back to Ubuntu by using following commands:
sudo apt-get autoremove kubuntu-desktop
sudo apt-get autoremove kde
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop
On reboot, I am getting a black screen with a mouse cursor (after nearly 5 mins). It won't proceed further.
Please help me resolve this without re-installing.
How can I configure 'top' to show all values in human readable format instead of long numerics. I am using Ubuntu 14.04.
