I want to increase the size of thumbnail and text size of username on lock screen. Any hack for this? Which css file I have to update for this?
I am trying to install MS Office 2010 32bit on my Ubuntu 18.04.
Following is my Wine version:

When I run setup.exe I am getting following in the log. And installation stops. Can I get some tip, how can I make it work? Should I re-install Wine?

I want to install Ubuntu 16.04 on an un-allocated space which I can see in Windows disk manager as following (78GB)

I also checked GPart software in live Ubuntu which is showing following picture. cant see 78GB un allocated space. Its showing 113GB space. Dont know why.
Same is the installer. I can not click on + icon to create a partition on un allocated space.
Can some one please advise on it? Is it due to number of partitions in Windows. Should I need to delete more partitions in Windows so that Ubuntu installer may recognize it?
In my Ubuntu 12.04 I installed Marlin File Manager.
It's difficult for me to read the text of a selected file/folder. It surrounded by red line and background is white and text is grey. Hard to read.
In my screenshot, it faded to white. But I want to know how I can change its text and highlight color properties.
I upgraded my 11.10 to 12.04 but it stuck on the first boot. I Alt+Shift+Del many times. But it does not go further.
I have Lenovo N200 machine with dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 11.10. Switched to Ubuntu 11.04. And all was going fine since my last night upgrade activity.
How I can proceed further? I have taken my home folder backup. If I have to re-install it. Any help?

I want a help to clear my concept about the difference between Gnome and Gnome Shell.
I found Gnome Shell is not installed on my Ubuntu 11.10. I upgraded from Ubuntu 11.04. Why it is that? Gnome Shell is not shipped with Gnome 3. And why I need Gnome Shell?
What extra capabilities I will get on desktop while installing Shell.
