Tried to upgrade from 22.04 to 24, and now the GUI won't run. I also cannot connect to the Wi-Fi from the command line.
When I try to restart networkmanager, it says some library curl missing, but I can't download it. I also get a libgio not found error.
What can I do? Should I try to run it from USB? Or all is gone? Can I perhaps copy libgio-2.0 files from the USB somehow, and paste them where required?

What can I do?
I installed "Brightness Controller", didn't help. I tried to change grub to acpi_osi=Linux and similar. Nothing helps. It is on max setting by default unchangeable. When I remove nomodeset, my screen starts blinking violently on each mouse move... What's going on?

My computer is Lenovo Yoga. It's kinda better now that I use nvidia-drm.modeset=1 (doesn't flicker anymore) but it still has many issues, there are sometimes weird spots appearing on a screen. How can I force it to use NVIDIA drivers?
In case my laptop gets stolen, is it possible to use some kind of service or something that shares its location at all times? In other words, what to do against the thievery?
So I figured out my problem finally through browser developer tools after weeks of scratching my head why sometimes some page loads are super slow.
I saw that DNS lookup is sometimes really slow (2-3 seconds).

When window is maximized, I want title bar to be removed. I've installed gnome-shell-extension-pixelsaver, but it's not doing anything.
Sometimes, randomly (as far as I can tell) I can't click anything (can still move the pointer). I have to restart the computer to have it running again. Same thing is happening on 2 computers, one is Xubuntu, another is Lubuntu. One is 18.04, another is 20.04. But it also happened on plain Ubuntu as well. What's going on? It gets really annoying. One mouse is Logitech, another one is from Microsoft. Both are wireless. Btw, important note, the mousepad stops responding to clicks as well during that time. Thanks a lot.

I just want to delete EVERYTHING except maybe /home folder and reinstall everything, because system became a little bit slow and I want to do that when 14.04 comes out. What's the best way to do that?

I want to port 127:0.0.1:80 to the other machine via SSH, how can I do that? I tried adding -R 8000:localhost:80, but it doesn't work. By the way, PHP is also installed on localhost, maybe that's why?
