I'm trying to get my default option in GRUB working again. Currently, it keeps hanging before login, probably on splash screen but I'm not sure since there are just some lines on a black and purple background :/

I can access my system through recovery mode with the resume option. Then everything including graphic driver is working just as it should.

Can someone help me debug this, please? It's my working machine and I would love to have it working again - of course ^^

So my bluetooth was working fine until last week where a new update came along. I'm guessing this included a kernel update. Then, my bluetooth was disabled and I can't turn it on again.

The service is running but in the switch in gnome-control-center does nothing when hit.

Through lshw I figured out, that I have a RTL8822BE Bluetooth and Wifi device. Wifi is working fine btw.

Suspicious about the info firmware=N/A I checked if there are the appropriate firmware files. I read that I should look for rtl8822b_config.bin and rtl8822b_fw.bin under /lib/firmware/rtl_bt/ and they are there.

One last hope that I had was that it was simply blocked. Investigating this I found that this can be seen with rfkill list but no luck there eather ...

I realy hope that some one can help me with this issue because it drives me crazy that it was working already but isn't now ...

PS: I also tried to go to a previous kernel but with no luck :/

Update: I also checked that AutoEnable=ture is set in /etc/bluetooth/main.conf.

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 and now my multi-monitor setup with DisplayLink is no longer working properly.

CPU usage is almost at 100% all the time where DisplayLinkManager is using about 80% of it.

Did some one managed to setup DisplayLink on Ubuntu 18.04 and got it working smooth? I would love to play videos on the second screen like I could before.

I am using a Zenbook ux31a.
