I`m planning to install Ubuntu on my HTPC (Intel NUC DN2820) again, and I also got a fileserver running Windows 10 Pro since the last time I posted something here. I want to be able to connect to my fileserver on my Ubuntu system. How can I do that?
Swinzon's questions
I've got an iPhone 5S and I send a lots of SMS and my fingers feel like they're about to fall off.
Is it possible to send SMS from my Ubuntu system, and recieving sms on my system?
Sorry for asking a lots of questions... I got a SanDisk X110 128SSD that I want to clone all the stuff to a Corsair Force GT 240. How can I do that?
I have a little problem with my Logitech K360 keyboard, the pc is a Intel NUC DN2820. When I have it on the nightstand, it won't work and when I have it in the bed it works fine, there is talk about 15cm difference.
With hardly works I would say that it is not catching what I type. It happened after I installed Ubuntu 14.04 and on Windows it worked. I'm using Solaar, and it says that my mouse and keyboard has low power when I boot up. It's a really annoying problem, what can I do?
I'm very new to Ubuntu, and yesterday I wanted to watch top gear on netflix. I was using Chromium snd I read that it doesn't support drm (I think it was called) and flash.
I tried the desktop version and installing it through terminal, and it doesn't work either. Then, I installed Chrome, and it works. Is there any way I can install desktop netflix? And how do I remove everything?
I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my Intel NUC DN2820. And almost every night as I lie down to sleep I listen to music, and my NUC shuts down (On Windows). On Windows it has the easiest command ever in CMD: Shutdown -s -t 1000
.
That doesn't work on Ubuntu I figured out, but I found this command: Sudo shutdown 18:45
, for those who don't know, 18:45 is an example when the system will shut down.
I tried this in terminal: Sudo shutdown 01:00
and I got a message in terminal '' E:/ can`t find the command''
The E: drive is my external drive, and C: is my SSD, what can I do to get it to shut down?
Thanks :)
I`m trying to install Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS as a second OS on my HP Pavilion 15 laptop. After the grub popping up, I choose to install Ubuntu. And the purple screen with ubuntu logo and the dots coming, after that, I get a black screen with only the mouse. IS there any way to fix this?
