I have an issue with a Chuwi Hi10 Pro. It occurs in Linux and Windows. When the screen brightness is too high, or the CPU is at 100%, while plugged in, the battery starts to drain. It is a very slow drain using a USB 3.0 QC charger but, I want to keep the tablet on 24/7 fairly reliably.

I would like to know if there is an easy method, preferably GUI or simple Bash script, to throttle the CPU (power management) and go back to high performance mode.

I want to use it for services such as Kodi; it may not mess up the video playback if it is throttled a little.

Side question, other than battery info, is there a way to know the amperage and watts from an AC adapter?

The On Screen keyboard for Ubuntu 18.10 seems to be fixed at the bottom of the screen (unmovable). In some scenarios, I need to move the on screen keyboard (float) when I don't have a physical keyboard attached. Is this possible?

The driver and firmware is working in that the screen responds to my finger but, the coordinates are no-where near correct. I tried xinput --map-to-output silead_ts DSI-1. When using xcal and touch the targets, all the adjustment points tend to group on the left (towards bottom) side of the screen. The tablet is docked to keyboard in landscape mode (rotated right). I also tried it in all screen orientations. The matrix that xcal produces (in landscape) is roughly [[0 -2 2] [-3 0 1] [0 0 1]] The model is CWI529, HQ64G42161206XXX I used the hi10_pro-z8350 firmware https://github.com/onitake/gsl-firmware/tree/master/firmware/chuwi/hi10_pro-z8350 The X Y coordinates could be inverted but, don't know how to fix (flip). I had it working in Manjaro Arch but not working in Ubuntu 18.10 Please advise.

I was wondering if there is an ETA on when NVidia will fully support Wayland (if not already)?

I have the latest proprietary driver installed (GeForce 940M 390.25 driver) however, I have to set the GPU (prime-select) to Intel in-order to login (otherwise need to fix using tty2). I assume this is because the NVidia driver still does not support Wayland. I do all of my GPU intensive activities on Windows however, still would like the option in Ubuntu 17.10 to use the better-performance NVidia GPU.

Using Ubuntu 16.10 Intel 945GSE graphics

Using nomodeset in GRUB, the DVI works with a DVI cable and the DVI-HDMI also works, all with a low resolution (i.e. safe-mode)

When NOT using nomodeset, the DVI port only works with a VGA adapter but in full 1920x1080.

I want to use the DVI port as DVI or with an HDMI adapter so that I can connect to a TV to use Kobi with an iptv subscription.

Steps to try and fix: Tried with a different monitor Installed and used the INTEL GRAPHICS UPDATE TOOL FOR LINUX* OS V2.0.4 played with xrandr
