As when adding @ symbol to unit file, it will become a template unit file. Can I do:
sudo systemctl enable [email protected]
? What will happen if I restarted the server? Would a new service get started using that template file? I need at least one service instance to start, but I am not familiar with template files best approach to solve this.
Any idea?
I am using Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, when I try to run command hostnamectl I get error:
bash: hostnamectl: command not found
Which library shall I install to use hostnamectl ?
In the terminal, how can I show history while typing? Is this possible? what is the library that I have to install? I think this will boost my productivity while using the terminal, currently I search commands by pressing up-down arrows, but sometimes it take time to reach the command I want..
Something like this:
As I am running commands in the terminal, some times when the resulted log is larg, I get lost looking for the command line it self.
And some times when I need to distinguish between logs of the previous command and logs of the command after ..
So, what's the recommended way to solve this issue? I thought about colors, but, I have no idea what to do or how to configure the terminal?
Is there another terminal which support colors, bold, or may be italic .. ??
After installing Imagemagick, I've tested it with jpg image, like this:
identify 1.jpg
But, I got this result:
identify: no decode delegate for this image format `1.jpg' @ error/constitute.c/ReadImage/550.
Then, I tried to add support for JPEG format by:
yum install libjpeg libjpeg-devel
but, I got:
Setting up Install Process
No package libjpeg available.
No package libjpeg-devel available.
Nothing to do
I thought I need to update the apt-get, I did:
apt-get install libjpeg libjpeg-devel
but, I got:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package libjpeg
E: Unable to locate package libjpeg-devel
Is there an easy way to get those libraries installed ? I am using Ubuntu 12.04.
Is there a way to adjust lighting step ? I have Lenovo L520, and Fn + Light Up or Down adjusts by 20%, how can I adjust the step to 10% ? it will help me fine tune lighting at my dark room.
