I have upgraded Ubuntu from version 21.04 to 21.10. But after the upgrade, Anydesk is not opening. Another screen-sharing app like TeamViewer is working. I tried Xorg also, but no progress. Please suggest a working solution.
V S Punn's questions
While updating the Ubuntu 20.04, I am getting the following error:
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/libsystemd0_245.4-4ubuntu3.2_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
The system was running 19.10, and was recently upgraded to 20.04.
The result of sudo apt autoremove
is:

Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.

I am using Unity pack. When I click on Upgrade to 18.10, nothing happens. I tried using Ubuntu also (rebooting and selecting Ubuntu option in settings), but no progress.

Somewhere it was mentioned that Vue scanner can help, but how do I install it.
Ubuntu Version 17.04 (64 bit) Mobile: Moto G4 (Plus) Android 7.0 When I connect my mobile to the laptop, and select Transfer File option on mobile, the mobile does not show. If I give the lsusb command, it shows in the list.
A few weeks ago I was able to connect the mobile to the laptop.
The plugin files are in the folder home/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins
the script folder is empty
I get the following error , when I run the Heal Selction plugin: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/python/gimpfu.py", line 736, in response dialog.res = run_script(params) File "/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/python/gimpfu.py", line 361, in run_script return apply(function, params) File "/home/home/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins/plugin-heal-selection.py", line 148, in heal_selection pdb.plug_in_resynthesizer(timg, tdrawable, 0,0, useBorder, work_drawable.ID, -1, -1, 0.0, 0.117, 16, 500) error: procedure not found
After upgrade the LINUX base to 4.8.0.42, the Ubuntu 16.10 is not starting. Even if it starts, it does not identify the wireless and other hardware drivers. Everytime I have change the option in Advance Options (GRUB) and select 4.8.0.41 to start the laptop.
Is there any way I can remove the 4.8.0.42 base, so that the system uses the 4.8.0.41 base.
I have Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 8 64-bit on my PC.
When I start the computer and GRUB loads, the options for which OS to boot show Ubuntu first and Windows last.
I need to swap these choices, so that Windows is the default OS. How can this be done?
The problem is: In the evening, when I shut down my laptop, it is 100% battery charged. But when I switch it on next morning, the battery indicator is down to 80% or something. If I switch it on after two days, the indicator is around 76%. My Laptop is HP 249TU (64 bit).
I am using Opera 37.0 on Ubuntu 15.10 (64 bit). Opera shows that the Flash Player needs to be updated. I cannot find any option of updating the plugin. Tried Prefrence-- but there is no advnaced settings.
I have a Sony Vaio, 64 bit laptop with 4 GB RAM. Before installing windows, I created portions as 50GB NTFS for Windows 7, 200GB NTFS & rest unpartioned for Ubuntu. Installed Windows 7, which went through without any trouble. Next I tried to install Ubuntu, but it is not happening. While booting the ubuntu instaler DVD is not recognised, same with installer USB. If I check that DVD / USB on any ither system, they are recognised.
What steps should I take to install Ubuntu. I tried 14.04 32 bit and 64 bit.
